Saturday, June 13, 2026
Color the River is Summers County’s biggest day on the Greenbrier River, bringing together more than 1,000 paddlers and floaters for a full day of tubing, kayaking, and community fun. It’s colorful, laid-back, and one of the best ways to experience the river.
What is Color the River?
Color the River is Summers County’s biggest day on the Greenbrier River, a community float where everyone is welcome. Locals, visitors, first-timers, seasoned paddlers, families, and friend groups all come together for a laid-back, laughter filled day on the water.
This family friendly float follows the scenic stretch from Pence Springs to Talcott Bridge, the same beautiful route featured the past two years. It’s the perfect way to soak in river views, enjoy time with friends, and experience the natural beauty that makes Summers County special.
