Bluestone Dam Discover this impressive structure and the waters that it controls. Take your selfie with the dam from this view point located just off of Route 20.	Bluestone State Park Enjoy the beauty of Bluestone as you take a selfie from the fishing pier with the Lilly Bridge in the background.	Hinton Historic District Stroll the sidewalks to find this colorful train mural painted by Tom Acosta. Use it for your selfie backdrop and be sure to include the Hinton sign.
John Henry Park Head on over to Talcott to learn more about John Henry, a.k.a. "the Steel Drivin' Man" and take a selfie with his statue and the tunnel.	Pipestem Resort State Park Visit Canyon Rim Center and watch the tram cars descend into the gorge. Take a selfie with the view finder and tram in the picture.	Sandstone Falls Explore the largest waterfall on the New River and take a selfie anywhere along the boardwalk with the waterfalls in the background.

Due to recent flooding the road into the John Henry Park is closed to vehicle traffic, please park at the gate and proceed on foot.

HOW IT WORKS...

1. Visit each of the sights shown in the photos above between August 1, 2020 and August 31, 2020.

2. Take a selfie at each sight as described in the photos above.

3. Once you have visited all six sights and you have taken your selfies, post all six photos together directly on our Facebook page or on Instagram.

4. Tag us @ExploreSummersCounty and use the hashtag #SightseeingInSummers.

5. Three lucky winners will be selected on September 4, 2020.

THE PRIZES...

Three lucky winners will each win $250 and a two night stay at either Pipestem Resort State Park, Bluestone State Park, or the Guest House Inn.

This contest is open to anyone age 18 or over.

Only one entry per person. Each photo can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.
The person submitting the photo must be the sole author and owner of the photo entered.
