Amtrak Cardinal Line
DYK Amtrak's Cardinal Line runs through the entirety of the New River Gorge National Park & Preserve? With stations in Thurmond, Prince, and Hinton you can board or depart in the park. Plan ahead though! Public transportation is non-existent. Private companies like Hills to Hills provide shuttle service.
Board Amtrak at the Hinton Station and travel anywhere via train. Head direct to Chicago or NYC, catch connecting trains to the rest of the country, or just enjoy a day trip to the Greenbrier Resort .
